Here in Ohio, you are allowed to carry a weapon. It must be in clear view, and the ammunition must be out of immediate reach of the person and the weapon. Kind of kills the whole idea of having a weapon.

thenewfiebullet;

A gun won't do much about spikes or wire. My point was that there are people out there who hate what we do enough to wish to inflict harm/injury on us. Can you predict when it will graduate from "booby-traps" to face to face confrontations?

Think about it.

Also, in Utah, you can carry concealed with a permit. I have and do.

Whew!!!! What a relief 99.9percent of gun owners are law abiding .

Does that mean I have to run into a thousand poeple in the woods til I finaly meet a meanie ? :-)

(Just so everyone knows , Mike and I are buddies, and Mike , I am just teasing )

We're not free in Canada?? LOL!! I'll have to think about that the next time I jump on my quad, leave from my house, and go ride anywhere on thousands of square kms of crown land.

Trust me, we might not have half the population running around with a gun in their pants, but we've got it pretty good up here.

Maybe Canada is not the best place for handgun lovers, but if you like quads, ski-doos, mountain bikes, hiking, camping, 4x4ing, fishing, hunting, and not worrying about getting shot, it's the place to be.

Hello,I too live in Nevada,and some times I carry a gun when riding,some times my buddy an I are out looking for coyotes or ground squrrils or rock chucks.Not every time I go out riding ,but when I want to.That's the nice thing about living in this great country-The good ol' USA. I am sorry but people with that self rightous attatude that guns are bad don't disurve to live in the USA you people **** me off.Guns are a tool nothing more ,you use them bad- they are bad like a hammer or a knife.My guns are for hunting an target pratice an protection if need be.I am not a criminal for owning a gun.......
When deer hunting I some times use my atv to get me into the places not many go so I can find the deer ,but mostly I never un load the wheeler till I kill one{harvest one-for you people that don't like hunting too}
Well I hope you get the point of my post an the next time people give you a bad time for carring an hunting an riding ,it's a right they can't take away from you,so don't give them a reason to,we have to be responsible......

My goodness...if you look...its not the guys packin the guns that are making all the noise here. We are just stating what we carry....look at the minority that DONT carry (and there is nothing wrong with that), some are making a stink about it. Sorry,,,,,,someone asked, we told! Relax guys, if we meet you on the trail I will betcha you wont even know the gun is there. Thanks Mike...that was great.

YES i carry GLOCK 27. reason= well you never know what you will come across in woods like some crack house, weed fields, maybe ill cross some private property and the owner goes nutz, poechers. there are many reasons to carry. same reason the DNR has a very intense training. becuase most the poeple in the woods they come across are ARMED.
i have never had a problem with another rider.

i carry as much as possible, but mostly when i ride my street bike. besides i love guns as much as my ATV.

sorry if i afend some *** that doesn't like guns

you gotta be kidding...

Living in the matanuska valley in alaska, at the edge of cook inlet, there are bears here
big enough to eat my sportsman 400 in one bite while holding me down with one paw to pick his teeth with me afterwards.

not to mention the 1500 lb bull moose that's watching it happen while the wolverines pop open a brew and grab a seat for the show.

yes, we carrie guns... big ones.
