I usually carry a K-frame S&W .357 (6.5" barrel) when I ride. But then again, I do most of my riding deep in the Alaskan bush... I should really get a .454 Casull...

well...gee...M249SAW, your too tough for me. Becareful, they may just be a better shot. If you are stupid enough to shoot and kill someone for stealing your atv, you will go to jail and you may never ride again, or see your family again for that matter. You will lose everything you have and your life will change as you know it. I respect and understand what you feel, however you must develop common sense here. If you have developed the false sense of security that a gun will keep you safe from everyone out there, you are sadly mistaken. If you can't distinguish when you should and should not draw, you shouldn't be carrying a gun. Remember, if you shoot, shoot to kill!!! If you are unsure whether or not you can take the life of another human being...leave your gun at home. Nuff said...

It's because of people like M249SAW that there are gun laws.

You'd shoot someone over a TV, and then bury them in the desert? Or plant a gun (one of yours I assume) in their hand and lie to say that they threatened you?

I hope I'm not the only one that thinks that's pretty sick.

Someone said a few pages back that there quad is not worth dying for, and I say it's not worth killing for either. I've got theft insurance and sometimes I wish someone would steal my quad, cause I'll get more for it from the insurance company then if I were to sell it.

Oh yea, RoostKing, of course he thinks criminals should have guns. He just admitted that he would commit a very serious criminal act for the sake of a TV. Do you think he'd want to give up his own gun?

For VARMINTS in urban areas I carry a Beretta TomCat that fits in my front pocket, and a 4" Colt Anaconda, in 44 magnum, for rural areas. In my State you can use deadly force to protect life and property.

I can't stop laughing I wonder how may of you anti-gun idiots I pass every day that don't know I have my glock on me , what a joke I think some of you watch to much TV. Yeah I guess I'm parinoid(SP?) My glock goes with me everywhere, chances of needing it are slim to none , but I love my wife and kids and wouldn't it be great if the one time I did need it I didn't have it with me?!
