pretty bad one in the kawasaki forum about the 700. Post was titled:

Just tried my nephews new 700, wow what a piece of dog shogg!!!!!

The guy basically rips it for all its worth. Got on my nerves and I don't even own one.

Speaking of "bashing Polaris"....notice a thread started by a young female Honda "rider" has been removed by the site admin.....good deal.

Andy, don't let it get to you. That is just what he thinks about the Polaris 700. I think it could have been toned down a little. There's a lot of people out there that think the 650 is terrible and a lot of people thinks the 650 is great, the same way with Polaris or any other brand.

My neighbor purchased a Kawi 650 this last week and we rode this past weekend. I am not bashing but since the guy in the Kawi forum wants to talk SMACK here goes. The machine is FAST but the thing is not very good in the mud. He got stuck three times in places I easily walked through on my Sportsman 500. In fact, once I pulled him out and backed through his ruts woth no problem at all. The machine simply suffers from LACK of ground clearance. I cannot speak for the 700 but I can tell you the 500 HO is a MUCH BETTER in the mud than the 650. Independant suspension is the only way to go Andy.

I have ridden with the 650 a few times and it is not good in the mud at least compared to my 500 Sportsman. I easily went through places he required winching, even with diffrent riders same results. Maybe with some more agressive tires it would have faired better. Did not ride as good as my 500.

I guess the moderators didn't like that kind of bashing, because the topic is no longer there.

All you have to remember is, those who bash are only trying to make it look like, that there atv is the best. Small things impress small minds.

If that thing has been removed, then I guess this post did its job. No sense in just starting an unprovoked bash on a machine that isn't exactly deserving. Hell, this was ATV of the year. You might be able to bash it for one or two things maybe, but not the quad as a whole.
