Well, for all of you who were interested in the winch for the Scambler. If you read my last posting about it, you already know that I ordered it from Canada for almost half of what my local dealer wants for it. Well, come to find out the guy made a mistake. The Scrambler kit comes with a whole bumper type kit that replaces the bumper. You can check it out at "Pure Polaris Link". Pure Polaris has it cheaper than my dealer and no tax and free shipping. I'll let you know how it looks when I get it.

Have you upgraded your stator? Just wondering if the stocker will run the winch?

Everyone I have talked to says that it will be plenty for the winch. I have a 500 Scrambler. I was told that 500 stator puts out more than the 400 engine..not sure about that though.

The stock stator on the 500 should run the winch. It's the same stator that's on the SP500. 250 watts should be enough. I must admit to being impressed with the winch set up for the SC500.
