I'd love to see Polaris take that 800 cc motor out of their top sled and fit it into a Sportsman frame. Then shave some of the weight off the quad, send it out with factory 12" diameter rims in the rear, and there I have it, a dream machine!

Okay, a 700cc Scrambler. I might as well lay down in the highway now, cause I'm gonna KILL myself on one of those!!

or die trying!

In that case, put the 800cc motor in the Scrambler instead of a Sportsman light. I'll start getting in line now. I won't plan on being on the highway though.

800cc Scrambler?? WOW!!! How long will the wheel base have to be to keep the front end on the ground.

I was told by a polaris dealership owner the sportsman will be 700cc single thumper for 2001! It would make sense the scrambler will follow suit. This guy doesn't lie!

Yes, a 700cc thumper would be sweet. I can't imagine torque from a monster that size!
