Yes we get a discount on polaris products but we can only order a couple times a year . It is usually in the spring and fall. The discount helps but it is still expensive to buy those wheelers and sleds soon for sale 99 500 mag and 99 500 sp need to order two more for this year.

Jaime,
Can you tell us what it's NOT, that wouldn't brake any rules.

The Polaris Corporate perspective :

This is from their last quarterly company stock report -

" For the 9 months ended 9/30/99, net sales rose 13% to $951M. Net income totalled $51.4M, up from $8.3M. Revenues reflect strong demand for their utility class all-terrain vehicles and increasing Victory motorcycle shipments. Earnings reflect manufacturing cost reductions and increased PG&A sales. "

The sport quad market for them is small dispite selling Scrambler 400's like mad. If we see any sport quads all from Polaris just call us lucky.

Chris Picciotto, I agree with your statement that
"The sport quad market for them is quite small"
But, if Polaris wants to meet their goal
"$2 billion by 2002" I think they are going to have to expand their horizons and I look forward to what they will (hopefully soon) be offering in the sport market. I think Polaris has made it clear that they are going to expand their markets by entering the go-kart/minibike market and also by selling their watercraft engines to jet boat manufacturers.

I can't wait until wednessday to see what new bike polaris has to offer.
