I have a Rcr stage 1 kit on my Scrambler 400. It only has the ritter plain spring. I would like to have my RPM's stay the same, and not loose any speed, but I do not like the void when I take off. When I go mudding, I just sling mud everywhere. I like doing wheelies also, so good throttle response is a must too.

Ok, here's the deal. I don't have money to spend on a clutch kit, so If anybody has some helixes, weights, or springs they would like to sell, please tell me, and I will try to make my own clutch kit.

I need low end, without sacraficing top. Is that possible? I like mud, and hillclimbing, but love wheelies, and going fast.

I think for the money I would call Rick at RCR and get a Standard HPD clutch kit. Comes with primary and secondary springs, and wieghts. They claim it is a good clutch kit for smeone who does not want to spend too much. Goes for $85.

It should give you more responce without raising clutch engagement too much at all. I will be getting this clutch kit along with the HPD Trail pipe. It is now in the mail....my wait is finaly over!!

Get yourself a set of good reeds/reed cage while you are at it too.
