Hey guys,

I cannot find the owners manual for my dad's polaris 425 magnum.. What I need to know is how much oil the thing needs? Are we talking quarts here or what? I read 5.5 quarts somewhere on the forum and that just sounds odd to me... My car only uses 6 quarts and it's a LS1 350....

Anyone know?

No ,it not 5.5 quarts.
Maybe it 5.5 pints??

The 5.5 quarts your thinking of is the expedition 425. This machine takes that much oil, due to its manual transmission. I dont know what the automatic tranny machines take, but its somewhere around 2-2.5 qts. But dont quote me. I due know its nowhere near the 5.5

 

Your machine takes 2 quarts.
