My Pictures

These are not my personal pics, but he posted them when I was looking to see what they looked like. I bought mine without ever having seen one. It's a great machine. Plenty of zip. I would recommend upgrading the tires and rims, if possible. I've had mine three months, and I'm doing it already.

Take a look at mine. Whoops 400x allready gave you my link LOL!

400x I was glad I could help.

Kevin1422 you will love it. Just plan on getting dirty when you ride in muddy conditions. My brother and I went on a poker run last weekend, he rode my 400x and I rode my wifes sp500HO. After 35 miles of riding, my brother was covered from head to toe with mud and water. But he still had a blast. And being a 4x4 really helped him in a couple spots when he tried to follow the big boy, but that is what made it fun.

Hello GE4x4,

I really did appreciate being able to see the pics. It was tough not having any idea what it looked like. Well, months later, it's still a GREAT machine. However, my Dad got hooked on them too. Sooooo, I gave my son's Trail Boss to him, gave my 400x to my son, and I bought me a 2002 Scrambler 500 4x4. I gotta tell ya, I think I like the 500 better. It has so much power. The 400 has lots of zip, but the 500 just seems to have the *****. Hard to explain I guess. Either of these are fantastic. I can't believe how Polaris gets ripped constantly on these forums. I think those people are out of their mind.

I wanted to ask you, have you upgraded the tires on your machine? If so, what kind? I have dents on mine, so I started looking around. I found some ITP Holeshot XCT's with Douglas 190 rims. I've gotten a couple of riders to say they're good, gonna give em a try.

400x

The only complaint I heard about the Holeshots, there not very good in the mud or snow, other then that, they are great tires.

The power that the 500 has over the 400 is the 4 stroke torque. You feel it right from the start, and is very good in tight trails.

My brother liked my 400x so much, now he wants to buy it. So now I have to think about another one for me. Hopefully all the bugs will be out of the sp700 in the 03 model, most likely that will be my next atv.
