I bought a set of those "long john" mudflaps for trucks....the kind that go all around the wheel opening. Removed the stock black plastic lower mudflaps and replaced with the long truck ones, used the bolts on the footboards and large head rivets with a backing washer up and along the fender tops, then trimmed the extra off. Looks like it come out of the factory this way. I might be able to ride longer than 3 minutes in the mud without getting covered head to toe now. I'll get some pics if anyones interested. Just thought I would post a "cheap mod".

i made the ones for my wifes TB from the 1/8" thick black plastic you can buy at most speed shops that cater to the dirt circle track racers. the plastic also come in other colors and it is less tham $2.00 per foot i bought the bolt/washer kit from my polaris dealer

I’m interested in both solutions. I’d like to see the pictures and where do I purchase the colored plastic? That mud coming off the front tires can cake my goggles in about 2 seconds. Thanks for the info.

i do not have a digital camera but you can get this plastic from shops that sell parts for dirt circle track race cars. they use this plastic to made parts of the body. i also made wider rear fenders for my wifes TB to go with the wider front fenders. try www.PerformanceBodies.com and their phone # 1-800-722-4641. a 10 ft roll costs $20.00,25 ft roll is $45.00 and a 50 ft roll cost is $80.00 and it is 22" wide and comes in red, yellow, white, oradge, blue, purple.

Haven't tested it out yet, but it's gotta be better than stock. I think the mudflaps were 24 bucks (Canadian) per set of two. I'll test 'er out on the weekend (after I fix my swingarm bolt....d'oh).
