I would like to know where Scaryfast bought those bumpers for his Sportsman 700. I'm waiting on the Polaris Warn 2500lb winch. I ordered it last week sometime. Hopefully it will be here soon. Has anyone installed this winch kit from Polaris themselves? If so, please let me know how it went.

Scaryfast,
Where did you get that front bumper?
Did you install it yourself?
Did you install the winch yourself?

Just a quick comment.... If you have a dealer near you and they dont RAPE you with a high charge.....i would have them put the winch on. Just like anything else, if it brakes, they have to fix it. Also, if you do have problems with the installation, you might have to get some more parts (ie. cut the wire to short/break a wire). I just picked my bike up from the dealer and had a winch installed. Took them about 2 hours to do it and cost 48 bucks. A Warn 2500 with remote. Figuring the time that it would take to do it, and who is responsible for if it works... i'd just rather pay the $48.00 and let someone that puts them on for a living do it. Just my opinion.

KellerSP700 and TheGhost,

I got my bumpers from the Polaris dealer. The rear has been available for the early model 700's {rectangle rack support} for a couple months. The later model 700's {tubeular rack support} have always been available since they are the same as the SP500. The front tube bumper has just recently became available {get'em while there hot!} I installed both front and early model rear bumpers myself with no problem.
The winch is a Warn A2500 winch kit {everything included except tools}. I installed it in a couple hours with absolutely no problem. The instructions detailed every step with no suprises. I give it an A+. If ya'll have any trouble with ya'lls, I'd be happy to help,
Dale

Dale, thanks for the info! I will call my dealer today about the front bumper. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for the bumpers? I noticed in your signature that you have a K&N air filter on your Sportsman 700. I didn't think they made them yet. Could you tell an improvement? Thanks in advance.

Thanks Scary Fast...
I should have kept the winch from my 500.
Ordered 2500 today and front bumper.

I found out yesterday that the 2500lb Warn winch I ordered from my dealer is on back order. I ordered mine on the 28th of March and it won't be in until next week sometime. What was the price on the front bumper?

To answer your question about a multi-mount for the 700......yes, warn does. I was looking at getting the 700 before i bought my grizz.... and that was a option that i was going to have done after seeing the 500 HO Limited Blue with one on it. The dealer out of Iron Mountain showed me in their book that they can order it. It was pricy though. I think that it was around 800.00!!!!! So look around. I have seen several places on the internet that you can get winches. But i dont know if you can get that particular one. BTW, make sure that if you go to a dealer, that you look at the NEW Warn catalog.... It's not in last years book.
