What's the best grease gun for getting at all 24 zerks on the 500HO. Also, any recommendations on grease and tricks on getting to all the zerks?

I would say get a atv jack(if possible) and remove all 4 tires, everything is alot easier to get to. As far as a gun, any will work w/a flexible hose. You might check out a 90 degree adapter, but it is not necessary. I dont know about anyone else, but I use PowerUp grease.

A "Pistol Grip" style really helps..especially those that are hard to reach. Also, a flexible hose is necessary as well. The hardest to get to for me are the U-joint fittings on the front and rear of the prop shaft, but by rolling the machine back and forth until you get it at the right helps a lot. The rear u-joint fitting is best reached by going thru a hole in the skid plate. Don't forget the one on the upper portion of the steering column.

Oh, that's an easy one. The M-3A1. The M-3 is also a nice grease gun, but it doesn't have the refinements and ease of manufacture that the M-3A1 does. Plus the cocking levers tended to break on the M-3s.

Seroiusly though. Just about any grease gun with a long, flexable hose and adjustable grease fitting will do the trick. If I had my "druthers" I'd have to say one that works off of compressed air would really be the "hot set-up".

If you have an air compressor its an easy one. Go to Wal-Mart and buy the pneumatic grease gun for $29.99 I had to buy a little longer hose but it works great and it takes no time by my self.

Check Northen Hyd. for the Lincoln. I used to sell Industrial supplies so I got mine dirt cheap(sorry). I would check them because they are usually pretty cheap.
