Does anyone know the specs on the HSP trailblazer pipe? Like the DB rating and things like that. Are there any places it is illegal? I'm just checking out some options if I decide to get a trailblazer and these are just a few questions I had.

I have it on my wheeler, i dont know the DB or anything but i know it claims to add 7 horse power and 4 MPH with a clutch kit, to start i just changed primary springs, now i have the clutch kit and i cant tell a difference between the clutch kit and just changing springs, I DEFINETLY can tell a difference with the pipe and spring though, best $270 i ever spent!

98trailblazer. I was looking at that pipe as well and it states that I don't have to do any modifications does that also mean I do not have to rejet the carb. I can just disconnect the old pipe and stick the new pipe on

well, if you dont rejet your carb your either gonna run rich or lean, and not get the power the pipe is intended to give. by not rejetting your risk the chance of a meltdown if your running lean (hole in piston). when i first ordered the pipe i was in the same boat as you. it is SOO easy to rejet the carb, i almost think you cant do something wrong. the clutch spring is also fairly easy, i started using a brown spring, then got the clutch kit, youll be fine with just the spring. also, the Pipe comes with 2 or 3 different jets and has a basic chart for you to run by.

hope this helps..

I was just on the HSP website and I saw the Sparky spark arrester and at the bottom it said fits on any pipe to make it forestry approved... Is it really needed?

It will only be needed if you plan to ride state/fed land. If you get caught with out one on state/fed

land I am sure sparky would have paid for its self after you get a ticket. I think it is a pretty good fine.

If you plan to go to any dunes they will not even let you in without a forest approved spark arrester.
