Does anyone out there have this insurance? How do you like it? Have you had any problems with it? My insurance is almost up and I wanted to get any feedback about Polaristar before I switched. Thanks in advance.

No, I am talking about ATV insurance. Polaristar sent me a quote in the mail today for full coverage. I was wondering if anyone had this insurance and how they liked it. Thanks for the reply though.

Keep in mind that it's been well over a year, but when I checked with them last Feb, I thought the Polaris rates were high.

My Boss is coverd by my auto insurer. I save about $30 a month with only $250 deduct.

The quote they sent me was $78.00 per year for full coverage. I called them and upped bodily injury to 25,000/50,000, property damage to 15,000, and added 1,000 worth of accessory insurance to the policy. Total cost per year is $93.00, oh and that is a $250 deductible. I just want to make sure they are on the straight and narrow before I switch to them.

Mousin, You have to watch having your ATV on your auto policy! If you wreck your ATV you risk having your premiums raised on your auto also! I keep my ATV's and autos with different companies for this very reason.

archerr2002 -

I have the Polaistar Insurance and have been very happy. I have always had a separate recreational policy with Allstate to cover my snowmobile and trailer. When I called to get a quote on insuring my new 700SP, they wanted $375.00/year! Thats when I checked into Polaistar. I got better coverage...including $1000 in accessories for $154.00/year with a $250.00 deductible. My dad and brother have had insurance with them for 3 years now and have been very happy. Their customer service reps are very helpful also. I haven't had a claim yet, but I feel confident in how one would be handled with them.

P.S.
Polaris does not underwrite this policy. Is is underwritten by another company that specializes in motorcycles, snowmobiles and ATV's.
