Sportsman 90 question
#1
Just purchased my daughter a new Sportsman 90. My question is, how much 2-stroke oil should I expect to use per tank of gas. We went riding this weekend and after the ride I checked the oil it was still full. I'm worried that the oil injector pump is not working correctly.
This is a neat machine, more power than I expected. I wish it had lights. Anyone tried to install Warn ATV trail lights on a SP90.? Also I saw a picture in this forum of a SP90 with a rear rack extender. Any idea where to purchase one ? It's not in the Polaris catalog.

My neice just got one from Santa and so far it has used little oil. We did, however, mix the first tank with oil just to give it some extra lubrication. What you can do and what I've done with my boat and my daughters LT50 was mark the oil level with a permanent marker. This will give you an idea on how much it'll use on a tank.
On the lights, I beleive I've heard that you can install lights were the fake ones are.

My son has had his 90 for about 3 months and I think you will get several tanks of gas before you need oil. The local dealer puts a light kit on it in place of the fake ones. They work out pretty good. I need to take his back in for warranty work. Backfires, sputters and them plum quit running. Also, the oil tank mounting bracket broke on it. This must happen alot because when I called him about it, he said he had a dozen on order.
