Hey dude, just a thought...Call Bert's Dirt Works at 1-866-823-DIRT, they told me that they had a slip-on muffler for the 700. That and the k&n filter would give an extra 7 hp! I haven't talked to anyone who has tried this yet, but give them a call, i don't know of any other exaust products available yet. The same guy told me not to jet mine or the gas mileage would be real bad Like it's not bad enough. What kind of clutch kit did you get? From Erlandson?? By the way, www.bertsdirtworks.com has a web page but it is not complete, you can only click on tires, but the main page has a cool looking pic of a jacked sp700 w/accesories. I've had mine since Jan 02 and been looking online for parts ever since, it's not easy. You could also try AAEN at 262-552-9496, they claim to have some parts for the 700, but there's nothing in the 2002 catalog. I bought some mud guards of of ebay, they turned out really nice, well worth the @30 bucks! Post something if you find anything. Good luck!!!!!

i have done one for my 500 and one for the new 700. cut the end off from the front of the muffler. use a band saw about 1/4 back from end. then with a torch cut the complete baffle system out of it leaving the mesh and packing on the outside. i have tried one with stock outlet and one with 2in outlet. havent tried swaping yet to see what the difference is.
friends 700 is stock right now other than pipe mod. befor pipe mod could only ride wheelys in low range. now can ride in high range. sounds better too. not loud at idle like my dg pipe i had on my sp. aaen does make a muffler, carb kit,and clutch kit for the sp. have ordered the carb andclutch kit will be installing this week. will give a report on it.

just got back from first ride with the mod exhaust on sp500. this is the same muffler as the 700 but with the same mod it was louder. not as loud as my dg but almost. it sounds better than the dg. more like a harley. may cut it apart again and ad one chamber to it. will let ya know.
