I know of three Trail Boss's that had the same trouble. After the break in time it was not bad at all.

I have a 00 trailboss and it never vibrates. Where do you feel the vibration at or the noise?

I have about 40 hours on my 325 mag and the vibration is not an issue at all. It was bad when it was new. Polaris has a bulletin concerning removing one of the motor mounts to help reduce the vibration. Some came form the factory with four and some with three. Mine came with three. If you have the four mounts ask your dealer to check for the bulletin (June 1999) and have it removed. As far as I know this was not a recall item. I have a copy of this if you dealer plays stupid.

dan.t,

I don't have a Polaris, but do ride almost every weekend with someone who has a 325 Magnum. I noticed that when idling, the handlebars, fenders and even the big back tires vibrated. When I asked if something was wrong, the owner said it was because the 325 did not have a counter balance feature on the engine. I reviewed some of the specs elsewhere in the ATV Review section, and the 500 Magnum has a counterblance feature shown, but is not shown in the 325 Expedition, which I believe is basically the same machine as the 325 Magnum. I could be wrong, but it may be part of the answer.

I just got finished test riding just about all of the Polaris line before buying 2 explorer 400's. I was going to buy a 250 and a 400. My wife did not like the 250 because it vibrated. It was not just 1 either. She tried 3 differ one's and they were all the same. The 325's and 335's were the same. If you look and the spec's on the smaller engines, everything except the 400's and 500's they are not counter balanced. According to the dealer that is what is causing the vibration. I don't know how big of a deal it is but I personal did not like the feel of it. How know's it could have the same effect on women as a Harly Davidson at the end of a longe day of riding. It may be a good choice for a wife/girlfriend.....
