What do you guys think of me trading my Warrior for a Scrambler 500 4X4? I want power and agility with good traction in the mud to boot. Would the Scram deliver?

The 500 4X4 would definitely be a step up for all around trail riding. You'll find yourself hitting that 4X4 switch a lot. Much softer suspension for great comfort. You'll be able to ride longer with less fatigue.
Just my 2c.

I have had a lot of seat time on both a Warrior and my Polaris 400 and over all I like the Polaris better. The Warrior is probably a little bit better on the tight fast trails where handling really comes into play, and it is also better over jumps, but I can't think of many other places where it has the Polaris beat. Also, stock for stock the Polaris will be faster (since I have heard that they are the same speed as the Polaris 400).

Personally if it was me, I would pick the Scrambler 400 4x4 because it's a 2 stroke and it likes to be modded, but even if my only choices were the Warrior or the Polaris 500 I would still pick the Polaris.

From how you describe your riding style, I think that the Polaris would be a great quad for you. Have you gotten the chance to try one out?

The Scrambler will be a great upgrade from a Warrior. Yes a Scrambler 4x4 will deliver great traction in the MUD. The power and Agility is outstanding for a 4x4. A very comfortable ride. The Warrior may be a little better for large Jumps and Very tight windy trails but, other than that, SCRAMBLER HANDS DOWN.

The Scrambler would be the better ATV. I have a Scrambler 400 4x4 and it is a nice - resilient and very agile for the weight. I myself like the 4 stroke 500 better than the 2 stroke 400. I wish I knew someone around here who swap me a 500 for my 400. Not that the 400 is bad - I love it- It's just the 4 stroke fits my riding style better.
