My 400 sport just cracked the jug, blew the entire clutch, toasted the tranny, blew the rear tubing out, and screwed up my tran. pulley
So when I fix all of this do you know any higher performance drivetrain that I could put in it? Like a different clutch and so forth, to make it faster. Well if you know, please reply with your anwser. thank you.

 

[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]Hey, unless you can put a front and back snowmobile clutch on, I am afraid your stuck. 1980 and newer snow clutches will interchange on the front (as long as they are not the deep bore), but they dont have the cooling fins. The back however is a different story because thay are a keyed unit and also dont have the cooling fins. Can use one without the other because they use different width belts and the snow clutches shift out more. I know this really doesnt help, but just for knowledge. Thanks,Bubba
