Well the sport is finally starting to come to life.I had the chance to drag race a stock 400(2wd) scambler,And it was not even close. I then raced a Atc and I could stomp him out of the hole, but when he hit 3rd he would pull past me. I'm just proud of the sports advancement in the speed department.Acouple of months ago I would be eating the ATC's roost of the line.If I could just find a way to overcome the mid range problem. It feels like the belt is being pulled to high to fast 4the engine to pull.Banshees and raptors are still out of reach, although I am closing in on the raptors. 400ex are no longer a problem, although they are much nicer handling.Just though I'd put this out to the polaris haters and lovers.Watch your back that polaris just might surprise you!I still wish I hadn't ridden that shee a while back,I cannot get that awesome power outof my head, I guess that is the level I am trying to get the polaris to.
The new clutch buttons really helped.

Speed is addicting!! Your next steps will be porting and head mods. Once that is doe, you'll need an extended swingarm. By the time that is done, you'll be craving for better suspension! It never ends! Have you reduced any weight on your machine yet? I would recommend going to aluminum rims and bumpers and maybe eliminate the electric start if it's worth it to you.

I think you may have a clutching problem. With your mods you should be right with a Raptor till you top out. What RcR pipe did you get? Are you sure you have the right clutch setup for that pipe?

Go with RCR for mods on a Scrammy. Rick called me at 8:00 PM on night to make sure mine was running right after he ported it. Customer service goes a long way.

ScamblerX,
Mods are1) rcr topend pipe and slincer(2) hpd clutching with red and yellow primary(58g wieghts) and violet secondary in the 2/2 position(3)Hsp 42mm flatside with 400 main jet and needle in the middle position(4) v force delta reed cage. I am running 22x10x11 holeshots on the rear and some 23x10x7 cheapa$$ crap on the front.

Scramblerx, I really do not know if my set up on the clutching is right.I 've emailed a week ago to find out his pipes power making rpms but have gotten no answer.

Exp00,
#1 above 325$,#2 150$, #3 290$, and #4 was 150$. And I be glad to surprise your expedition. Just kiddin'. I lost a sand drag to a recon a while back becuase I was sleepin on the competition.

biggin,
Just call Rick Ritter, he is usually in the shop and will get you straight. I talked to hime for almost 20 minutes about a 250 motor in a scrambler 4x4 frame. I will do business with him almost exclusively. I hope to have my scrambler ready for race season next year in Oklahoma. He will be the one I buy from or he can tell me where to get what I need.
