where to buy air filter

Most Polaris dealerships sell K&N Filters for Polaris ATV's... If not, you can find them at any number of the ATV accessory web-sites... Or pick up an issue of Dirt Wheels Magazine.. they will have MANY advertisements of places you can get one at... They usually run about $30 for the filter... The neat thing is you never have to replace them.. you just clean and reuse them.. Just make sure you follow the cleaning instructions... They give you a little more power too..
I know UNI-FILTER makes a foam filter (The K&N is cotton guaze and wire mesh) for some Polari'.. but Im not familiar with their life-span..

I have NO CLUE... I would suspect it would depend upon the machine... but getting an exact speed increase would be impossible to guestimate.. I can tell that it makes you atleast "think" it accelerates harder.. It definitely saves your @ss when you fill the airbox full of water... It doesnt let the water thru the filter.. it just stops all airflow and kills your engine..

My local dealer wants $30 for a K&N, does anyone know if thats a good price ???
I emailed Dennis Kirk and got a reply that a catalog would be out soon, but they won't give me info on filters.
Any one have a website or phone number I can call for both the filter and brakes ?? My dealer wants $60 for the rear brakes !!!!
