Just tried to start her up after the "operation"... After modding her to the hilt last year, I decided to sell all my mods to a lucky person for less than half price in exchange for his stock parts. I just finished rebuilding her and started her up after many, many tries.

Here's the symptoms:

1- She starts but only runs when throttle is applied. Stalls on idle.
2- The choke has no effect at all.
3- Clicking sound coming from engine.
4- If no throttle is applied, she stalls but if minor throttle is applied she clicks.
5- Engine seems to "kick and sputter" making it seem to want to jump off its bolts.

Before taking tons of stuff apart I just wanted some opinions first. I am thinking it is the main jet that is way too rich??? Better not be those parts I got in exchange!!!

Thanks for any insight guys...

Just jetted down to 230 main and 30 pilot and pretty much the same thing except when the seat is off I seem to hear a rather loud "sucking" sound near the intake...(I know the description sucks but thats what it sounds like?!?!?!)Just doesn't sound right or run for that matter. It's as if I can hear the explosions in the engine...hmmm...

Jetting is stock.
Adjusted fuel screw to 1 1/2 turns out.
Choke lever seems to be well adjusted.
Needle jet on middle position???

Just don't know...
