Get the RCR Stage 1 kit with the HPD Trail Pipe. You get a large performance gain for the money.
If the silencer is too loud, you can re-use the stock silencer / spark arrestor.

As far as trail mods go, you really can't go too wrong with any of the manufacturers. As far as what was previously stated about staying with a matched setup from a single supplier, that's the way to go. I've had the Hot Seat, HPD, FMF, and AAEN. The only one that REALLY failed me was the FMF. This thing had to be welded shut twice. I kinda wonder how the HPD "new" race pipe would behave. Could save you money down the road if you ever wanted to switch to a race-mod. You have to realize that it is indeed tuned to the race porting, but I wonder how far off the performance would be in comparison to the other trail pipes. I have an AAEN pipe with two weeks use for sale for 1/2 price.

After all this babbling, I would probably still have to recommend the RCR or Hot Seat matched packages. Either of these two setups will wake up your quad and make you grin like an idiot at every crack of the throttle.

Ken....as the P.O.D. song says "Here comes the BOOM!!!!" pipe it into some earbuds next time you hit the trails, but I'm not responsible for any "Accidental Tourist" excursions from the rowdiness it installs in you!!!
