I just bought a Sportsman 700.Wow I am really impressed with this machine so far.I was worried about the fuel mileage but so for not bad.I went around 45 miles and filled back up,I had only used about a half a tank I am impressed with the suspension it is like silk compared to my other bike.I am alittle concened about the play in the frontdrive shafts,has anyone else noticed this? I was really impressed with the speed,with only 50 or so miles I have had speeds around 67mph by a GPS.Not bad for a heavy machine.

i can never get over how much the new breed of big quads can do. i feel like i can concour anything on mine, lol. the power is far surpassing anything i ever thought would come out of a big 4x4 quad. i hope you have a ball on it, and keep on muddin!!!

Yes mine has some play but I think it is normal. I have over 1000 miles on mine and no problems yet.

 

Congratulations on your sp700. I was just up in northern wisconsin over Memorial Day with two other 700's. None of had any problems and we put on 100 miles. I mean a tough 100 miles. We had two of them up to the muffler in mud and water. We had to go through 4 bad mud holes while going through a swamp. I have been getting about 13 to 15 miles to the gallon with mine.
