For those of you who run the K&N air filters -- do you use the the OEM Polaris Sleeve that slips over the OEM paper filters? Or do you not bother? Thanks!

I do not run the stock foam over my K&N. GOOD OR BAD????????????????

I agree with Ronnnnn, I think the Outerwear is a good idea, May not be needed with air box type filters but I would certainly have one on at all times if I eliminated my airbox.

The best thing to use is the water repellant outerwear..That way if any water does enter the airbox it just rolls right off of it. And it's only a buck or two more than the regular outerwear..Here are some picsof the water repellant outwear on a k&n in my machine..

Keep on Riding!!

I kept the outerwear on my Scrambler after I installed my K&N Filter.
