There is no RPM limiter on the two strokes. That is the sole function of the pipe. The pipe will limit the amount of RPMs you will rev to by it's design. HPD's race pipe is said to be good till 7200-7500 RPM. Oh By the way, I wouldn't care to do anywhere near 7000 rpm on a stock piston machine. Some people found out long ago that the stock piston breaks down around 7000 rpm.
