How long are you planning on being there? If it's not longer than a week, then I wouldn't worry about changing the clutching. It would just be a waste of time and money. Just change the jets and you should be good to go.

Hello,

I live and ride in Colorado between 8500 and 12000 feet in altitude. Every dirt bike and ATV I ride has been fine by going down two sizes on the main jet if it was jetted correctly before. The dealer here sells his ATV's jetted two sizes smaller than stock also. The dealers here sell automatic clutched ATV's with everything stock, so you shouldn't have any problem. Have fun on your trip, where are you going?

Good luck,
Lorrin

Going to the Creede area for 7 days. We're planning to ride North of there. San Luis, Spring Pass, Wheeler pass areas. Any suggestions?

My buddies and I take a 7 day trip riding every year here in Colorado, but, sorry, I haven't ridden North of Creede. I did spend a week riding about 25 miles west of Creede one year. I got to know Creede pretty well, you can still feel the mining days when you're there. Have fun.
