Can anyone tell me how a winch mount fastens to the front of the Sportsman 500. Not sure where they are fastened by looking at the pictures on the internet. I want to make my own mount, but want to fasten it the same as the factory mounts.

Looking at the front the black grill comes up and attaches on both sides of the radiator. There are 2 bolts on each side that connect the grill to the frame that is where you attach the mount, through bolting the mount the grill and frame together. They also utilize the 2 lower bolts on the grill that fastens the plastic cowling to the grill. The mount I am describing is the Warn Multi-Mount so other mounts may be different in configuration.
