I have a 2001 Sportsman 500 and my fuel pump went bad. Has anyone put in a gasket/diaphram kit. My local dealer suggests a whole new pump for $70 of course. Seems to me a gasket/diaphram kit replaces all the critical components and is only about $35. Anyone else had fuel pump problems. I had a '97 Sportsman and never had a problem.
