I was riding the sport 400 this sunday when out of the blue I bottomed out in spot that usually presents no problems.I looked at the rear shock and there was a rubber piece about the diameter of a silver dollar and 2-3 inches long.It was inside the spring so I had to pull it out.(It was cracked down the middle, longways)The rear shock now makes a sucking noise when I push it down and even though I have the screw up to the most stiff setting the shock still gives way with slightest load.Any ideas?I know a new rear supension cost 239$,I hope I can avoid that.

You need that bumper in there. Time for a shock rebuild. $30-40 per shock.
