I have a buddy that is looking for a new exhaust for his Sportsman 700. Anybody have any suggestions about where to find one. Any other performance suggestions would be helpful also.

Thanks in advance

I just got the Hot Seat catalog and they have a pipe that starts twin from the header and claims to add 5-7 horse. It lists for $300. I am gonna get one in the next couple of weeks.

BTW,
has anyone noticed how god damn HOT that right rear fender gets from the exhaust heat?
is that normal?
my Sportsman 500 never had a hot fender.

thanks again,

SpruceDuece,

Sounds like exactly what we are looking for if it is not to loud. Let us know how it performs. There doesn’t seem to be a lot to pick from right now or maybe I’m not looking in the right place. Thanks for the info.

I had a typo in my previous post- The pipe alone is $399, ($189 just for the spark arrester)....complete with clutch kit (spring, helix, weights) and a K&N is $600...

If I hadn't already done the clutch and added the K&N I would go that route.
