I was going down avery steep short hill and it was washed out on one side..When my wheel hit the rut it jerked the handle bars and the same time I shifted ahead on the seat..My thum stabed the throttle and the bike took off down the hill ,It happened so fast..thought I was going to loose control..But hit the brake at the bottom and was OK..The other guy i was traveling with had a 350 Honda had no problems . He's been driving for years..Experiance makes the difference

 

Has anyone else had a simalar situation..?????

glad to hear u didnt crash and burn... ive had a couple of hairy ones myself. most frightening was riding about 50-55 mph through a large sand bar, ran across a real long turn to the left ( i was haulin azz cause i had to catch the rest of my group ) , well when i got around the corner i saw my buds stopped. well i kept thinking WTF and i see them waving all around at me, well i look straight ahead the sandbar is disappearing . its a 40 ft drop, straight down. i started downshifiting and getting down hard on the brakes and i stopped just a foot or two short of going off the drop. a little too close for comfort. be careful on that thing and HAVE FUN!!!!!

 

Went up a hill and at the top was a lip with a rut in the middle. Front end came up and over and went end over end six times down the hill. I was lucky enough to jump off but the Sportsman was totaled. I am thankful I had insurance because I now have a Silver 2002.
