Well, I have my HPD Trail pipe, all ready to be put on, I took off my old stock pipe and header pipe that bolts on right where the exhaust exits. Then when I went to put on the HPD Pipe, I saw that the new head piece the bolts on has 2 squishy rings on it allready, so I guess I dont need to use any old gaskets? Because none of the old ones even fit and plus theres those 2 squishy rings. So just bolt on the new header piece and put the pipe over the 2 rings and put all the springs is all I can see to do, with no use of old gaskets, Correct me if I am wrong, thanks. Woops, also forgot to asdd, its a 99 xplor400

it is better replacing new gaskets as well and checking if the pipe can be tuned for more bottom or top end power with shims or rings.

bolt the bottom piece on first and then put a little grease on the 2 rings.then you have to push the pipe all the way up on the piece that has the rings.make sure it seals good.any more questions..send me a private mail.
