Looking to replace OEM shocks on rear of bike, I weigh 250 lbs and have the rear shocks adjusted to the max and still am not happy with the wheel well clearence.I carry a Moose extension rack with gas and tools for the days we do 100+ miles so she is kind of heavy in the rear end. Are there any after market shocks that can be installed without having to re-invent the wheel?
Thanks in advance.

I think you should be looking at different springs, not shocks. Your wheel well clearance is set by the spring preload, not the shocks.

this probaly wont help but Polaris makes a nice set of heavy duty front spings with adjustments which work great if you have a snow plow. you can get as much as two inches more of lift.

Billyclub,

Just go down to your dealer and order the 140# pound rear springs. I had to put them on my quad too (stock rears are 100#). They also make a 70-120# front and a straight 101# front spring if you have a plow or winch mounted.

New shocks will do you no good.

Already have the HD springs in the front they work great. I'm going to order the rear springs today.
