why do u need valve adjustment?? how many miles u got on it... and how do you know that it needs valve adjustment...I am wondering because i have two magnum 500's an 01 and 02.

 

Since no one is replying, I think your best bet is to go to a dealer and invest in a repair manual. It comes in handy a lot. Valve clearance is .006 .

 

Hey Polarisman3! you'll know when you need a valve adjustment. It will start t make a slight tapping noise and it will get louder as the miles keep adding up. You owners manual says check and adjust every 100 hours. I had mine adjusted and it cost me about 80 bucks for the labor time.
