I was under the hood of the Scrambler today and found a purple wire that was unplugged and looks as if the female connector was taped up with electrical tape. It is at the top by where the handle bars clamp into the steering stem. It looks like it comes out of the bunch of wires that connect to the dash. I have NO CLUE where this wire is from and where it should be. Can anybody help me out?

its my guess that the wire is not used on your model,,but is probably used on a different model..the wire harness is probably used on different models, and not all wires are used on your model..

That wire plugs into the reverse indicator light.
