Rincon~

Thanks...Yes, I've spent quite a bit of time in the seat of the SP700. It "feels" stiffer than my Grizzly and "seems" taller then my grizzly. But, I suspect it's just a matter of getting used to the ride. The funny thing is my brother in law says the same about my Grizzly compared to his sportsman. MT~

Yes...they seem to be working fine on the email notices for me.

Well, it happened. I did pull a P500 out of a mud-hole the other day.

We were about 100 miles south of the arctic circle, back in the mountians about 20 miles from the gravel road. We were coming up out of a swamp down in the drainage of a small river.

The '97 P500 didn't have either the power or the ground clearance to get up and out of the mud-hole.

Based on the description of your machine, I know you would not have had the same problem that fella did.

Ratman,

I can add a locker to my yuppie Honda easier than you can add Honda quality to your Yamaha.

My boy got the 300 high centered today. So the big grizz with big tires takes a run at it. He got equally stuck and was also pulled out by the AC.

What's amazing is how fine the line is between what I can go through with a stock 3wd Honda and all the other big machines. I'm not suggesting they are equal, just that often times when I can't make it, not much else does either.

White347LX - I guess you failed to look in the honda forum.

ON just the first page alone the following titles are there -

What's has happened to your Faith in Honda?
nOT BUYING HONDA ANYMORE!!
Rancher problem
02 recon es stuck in neutral!
250r lower ball joint....help!!!!!!!!!!
400ex vlave adj noise.
Rancher ES Shifting Problems " WHAT'S THE FIX"

SO, all bikes have problems. Even the almighty honda. It's funny how Polaris comes out with innovations and the rest of the industry tries to catch up. The only things you guys are first at is slamming people.

I don't see polaris guys running to the yamaha or honda forum when we pull one of those bikes out of the mud, because it happens ALL the time. BUT, when the day FINALLY comes that someone pulls a polaris out, they run to the computer to post it in the polaris section. I guess it's hard to be king sometimes.

I'm just glad to see that honda and a few others are finally realizing that the way to go is 4wd and not 3wd. along with IRS. You guys will be glad to get what we have had for awhile now. LOL Just have fun. They're all great bikes, just some of us bought better ones..
