Gotta agree with Scramblered. I also have the Durablue axle (+5" model). But to do it all over again, the Hot Seat unit sure looks nice. The nice thing about it is you can switch back and forth between stock and +3" width. They also include a nice set of lightweight aluminum hubs. Goes for around $419, which isn't bad considering normally the hubs alone will run you $150+.

The stock axle is non heat temper'd. Wich means it is more prone to bending than aftermarket ones.
They aftermarket ones may be stronger, but when they break, they usually break into two.
But they do that for a reason. They figure a bent axle is alot safer than a snapped one
