on my 94 sportsman me brushes went out when i took it abart it did not have water in it. i but new brushes in and went on another ride and the same thing happened again after ridding for about 1hr i here the famous clicking sound. i know the brushes is out again. the armerture is worne some. it was the one that came in the bike. could it be a low battery. right after i put in new brushes the bike would not turn over very fast and it would not start. i pull cranked it and then it would crank with the battery. i charged the battery up and it still did this again. it is a champion battery from walmart and i bought it in jan.
