well i've rode every 2003 polaris has,, and i can say i like the power band on the 600 better than the 700 and 500.

actually for the price...i was kinda thinking about only carrying 400's 600's and 700's and ordering very few 500's.

the power is very very close to the 700, soo just think of it as a more afordable 700.
and the low end grunt is like twice what the 500 has.

I just read one of the reviews on the 600. I think it said that the 600 has 8% more HP then the 500, but has a whopping 25% more torque. On a utility, I will take torque over HP.

I would pick the 600 over the 700. It does everything the 700 can and seems to be a smoother running engine. Like I stated earlier Polaris doesn't have much choice but to up the power on the 700. There isn't much point in buying a 700 that has the same performance as a 600. I'm hoping Polaris has somthing in the works for the 700. I still think a 700 HO would be GREAT.

for only a $500 MSRP difference between the 500 and 600, who wouldn't choose the new 600 over the 500?

polaris will update the 700, if can say one good thing about polaris it's that they change their atv's (usually for the better) EVERY year. not just BNG (bold new graphics).
another question, how can the 600 handle better than the 700, softer suspention, better power curve, what's the deal??

I can buy the 02 700 spruce for $200.00 more than the 600 green 03.
I wuld like to know from the people who actually drove this 600 if the 700 or the 600 is the better buy.

because they're is something special about a 600 cc engine,it is the class of good running engines, look in the snomobiles world, every 600 from every brand kick *** especially the polaris one (xc 600),600 is the best big bore engine you can get,i'll not surprised if this new twin will outperform the 700 in long term...
