Does anybody have the topend RCR kit for the trailblazer? Does it work well? Or does it have a bad start off the line? Anybody know how much mor horsepower all of these kits produce?

I happen to have one, yes it is worth it. I have recently added a 38 tooth rear sprocket to my Trailblazer. When I did, I lost what ever horsepower the pipe gave me. By simply adding the old 34mm carb off of my Sport, I got it all back and then some. I can now pull a wheelie and ride it for a ways, where as before I couldn't even get the front end up. Granted, it doesn't come up as easily as my Sport, but it still comes up.

If you leave the stock 42 tooth sprocket on, you'll get a noticeable increase of power across the entire powerband. The stock pipe is quite lackluster when it comes to making power.

Hope this helps!

How does the TB with the topend kit compare with a stock Sport400?

Well it has been a while since I rode a stock Sport, but it should keep up fairly well until the top end. There he will lose you. The gearing just isn't high enough to make it keep up.

As an interesting note, I'm going to change my belt for the first time on the Trailblazer. After three years on the same belt, I think it's about due. The weird thing is that if you have a worn belt (worn without being abused), it will actually slow you down. The belt will not fill the pullys to it's furthest extent, thus making it seem like you are in a lower gear. I GPSed my Trailblazer last weekend and only got it to 38.2 mph. Granted this isn't the most scientific test of speed, as the speed is taken every 5 seconds or so, but I'm hoping to get a little better top end out of a new belt.
