This dealer advertises in many trade mags. http://www.crotchrocket.com call them. A friend of mine drove there last weekend and saved over $1k on msrp on the new Grizzly. Jonesboro, Arkansas. Anyhow, you might want to just give them a call.

I work in Jonesboro, so I've stopped by there. I wasn't going to mention this, but since you brought it up: They have a new 2002 Yellow 700, but you can see where they have hot rodded it out on the parking lot. All 4 tires show some pretty extreme abrasion from an apparent "test drive", not to mention it has muddy water spots where it has gone through a mud puddle (not just under the fenders, but on the headlight pod and everywhere else, so whoever did it got pretty wet in the process). I'm not saying I would keep it spotless, but if I buy it, I want to be the first one to shred the tires and take it mudding. They did however offer me one which is still in the crate, so I'm considering it as I write this.

I don't blame you at all. My new Z was assembled while I was at the dealership. I wanted the virgin ride all to myself. I know what I do when I test out a bike and I rather some other person didn't do the same to my new purchase. Anyhow, go luck with your quest!

RideRed913,
good job! seems like a good price for a brand new 500!

BrentAR, DON'T pay those guys the price of a NEW 700 when they are trying to pass THAT ONE off on you! NO WAY!
roughed-up tires and mud is NOT a "test drive"
sounds to me more like the owner's son, spoiled-little-rich-kid, had the free use of it over the weekend...beating the HELL out of it!
i'd research their service dept. customer satisfaction before i drop my $7000+ there.
just a thought,
-MT

P.S. i can't stand it when a Dealer uses something rear hard....than tries to pass it off as still being new.

Went by today to make an offer on the one in the crate. The sales lady I talked to Sat. was gone to lunch, another salesman and the owner looked at me like I had two heads when I said I was told they had one in the crate on Sat. He said he could tell me when the one on the lot was assembled, but he wasn't sure if they had sold one in the crate since Sat. So if anyone knows of a Yellow 700 still in the crate or that hasn't been "test ridden" and is near NE Arkansas, let me know.
