help with carburetor

My 2001 polaris trailblazer floods out everytime i try to start it. i haven't been able to get it started and i really want to ride but i can't figure out why it is flooding. so maybe yall could help me out with why it is flooding out. thanks for any info yall can give.

ok well it is obviously your needle and seat (inlet valve in carb) it is stuck open and the fuel continualy flows even when off. my 02 magnum had that problem...take the air box off and pull the carb through that opening..and go from there...it will cost you about 15$ for parts.

Do you use the choke when you first start it? If so, then
return it to the full off postion or 1/2 choke right after
it starts. Make sure you do not give it any throttle when
you are starting it. Don't crank it for more than 10-15 sec.
if it doesn't start right away. Is gas coming out of the over
flow tube? You could have a stuck float!

thanks polarisman3, thought it might of been that but my brother-in-law didn't so i listened to him. but i will check that out.

and talonhawk i do not use the choke on it because i have never had to use the it since i have had it. and i checked to see if it had a stuck float. that was the about the first thing i checked.
