I hope Polaris is thinking of making a Scrambler 700. 4x4, sporty and 700cc now that would be a great quad.

that would be awesome. A guy (local polaris mechanic) says he's "figured out" the sp700, at a local atv rally they had drags, and he was race'in banshee's and raptors on his sp700. that's amazing that a 800++ pound quad, rider, can beat some of the fastest high performance quads out there!!! (and the scrambler is even lighter than a sp)

The 700 motor is pulled right out of a snowmobile just de-stroked, and everyone knows that Polaris's snowmobile motors can make a lot of power
I thought I saw where there was a 1000cc kit available for the 700 somewhere.
Personally with all the good comments I hear on the power of the 600, maybe that is the way to go.
I would love to have a scrambler, but I would have the fenders torn off in a few minutes of riding, with all the trees and all.

nope, not all Polaris snowmobile motors are 2 strokes, check the site,
the 700 motor is out of the relatively new 800 snowmobile Polaris makes.
the 800 is destroked.

Wow, that would be a 650 lb Scrambler! Actually, closer to 600 lbs for the 2wd model! Why not get a 650 Prairie if you want that kind of performance?

571lbs is the dry weight of a 500 scrambler, so you're right a 700 scarmbler would weight 650 pounds (wet anyways)
