Some friends of mine havea Trailblazer that is hard to start. If you get it started it runs fine but has a bad idle. Have checked the spark, airfilter, fuelfilter and tonight will check carb and compression. Could someone tell me what is normal compression and what is the setting for the air or fuel mixture screw. When you try to start it it spins good but when you go to choke it it seems like the motor bogs but will not start. Any ideas will be appreciated.

90psi to run, 120-150 optimum. Less than 70 it won't even start on either.

Did the compression test and came up with 72lbs. Time for the rebuild.
