just to let you know, i helped a friend replace his plastic on a '99 Sportsman500 and we used the Polaris factory kit. it was a rear pain in the butt, but when it was finished, it looked terrific![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
Polaris was good about exchanging the head light pod. the one they sent was for the newer models and didn't have the little rectangular holes below the spedo.
also, don't forget to use the silver HEAT TAPE on the fender where the exhaust is.
we changed his color from camo to SILVER. decals were extra. he installed the silver 'diamond plate' decals that were used on the yellow SP500 in '01!
