What Was Your First?

<< 1982 Kaw KLT 200. No shocks, manual clutch. Just sold it a couple of years ago, kind of wish I had kept it. >>
no way! that was my first ATC, mine was a '83 though, but still no suspention (well the tires. lol) and manual clutch. it literaly fell apart, but that was when i gave it to dad for fixing my XR. we never got a single trip in without it breaking (that's not exaggerating either) Our big red was soo much better. not bashing, but here's a brief list of what went wrong: rear hub (1 wheel drive) chain tensioner, front axel, starter, cylnoid, clutch, trans, top end. the funny thing was that we still rode it!! when it was under water the motor had a hole in the bottom end so it blew bubbles. lol once i was sitting on it (last trip it ever seen) and it wouldn't go into gear so i was kicking it down forever, and when i stopped and waited a while all of a sudden it took off (no clutch, so it jumped ahead pretty quick) it is now under the work bench. the rear end is the axle to our little trailer. but mabey you had better luck with yours??
my first ever was a YZinger 50 (we still have it after 3 kids used it)

My first was my dads Moto 4 350. Which we still ride to this day, had it out earlier. BUT the first quad I bought was a 2000 Sportsman 500. Which I've had for over a week now. Now Im $5,500 dollars porer.I think dad will upgrade soon.
My first bike was a Puch 50 and then a 1974 Honda XR 75. Its still in the garage and will fire on the first kick (the honda).

my first was a yamaha 200 4 stroke three wheeler love it still have it than got a 86 250r trx sold it got a banshee regreted selling it so i built my 330r trx and now have all three. i think i still get more hours on the three wheeler than the rest of them just fun to ride around on wheelies or two side tires and just have fun not racing, or take the banshee out and just go fast or ride the dunes or any where eles for that matter. maybe just me, but thats what keeps it fun and not just competitive. what do you guys think?

Great first rides guys!(and gal-Fox250)
i was doing some organizing around the basement and i came across a pile of old 3-wheeler brochures!(no, they are not for sale) i must have one for every year since '82 or '83.
that's what gave me the idea for this topic.
chrysler is building those 'retro' style cars ie: the Prowler/PTCruiser, and GM is thinking about jumping on the same bandwagon..........i think it would be cool to have a reincarnation of the 3-wheeler. so what they were deemed 'dangerous'......some people can't use hand clippers w/o hurting themselves!
if you have a pic, or link of a pic of your finst ride please post it because i don't recognize what some of those models are.
also, if anyone is interrested, i found a website of all antique snowmobiles. my first ride on one was a '72ish Yamaha 292. for kicks if i can find the link, i'll post it..........what a DINASOUR!
later for now......keep 'em comming!

Honda ATC 200 Big Red. I think it was an 84. What a piece of $hit. I will say, it only ever broke down on me once. The centrifigal advance blew apart. $20 fix. Other than that, never did any maintance and it just kept coming back for more. It might have been a rough ride but it was dependable.
