Polaris CEO Tom Tiller was on the local news (Minneapolis) last night fighting for the little people's right to ride. Basically showing clips of "parents" standing by as jr. dives down into a mud hole W/O A HELMET ON!!!! Like I said "parents". He had some great comments about people wanting to live in a risk free world.....in other words BORING!!!. He made some great points, and also got the 700 Sportsman along with the jr. models a free commercial.

Since when is it the ATV manufacture's responsibility for "little Jimmy"?

I am SO FU$&ING sick of these people trying to get rid of ATVing because thier lazy-asses were on the couch while their son/daughter was out in the pasture WFO without proper supervision or safety eqiup.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]

ATV's have age giude lines(that most people dont agree with) just for this reason. Its these "parents" that give their kid a 10,20,30,40+ HP machine and don't even care enough if the kid knows how to "OPERATE" it. and even worse than that is they dont even care to get involved in the sport their kid loves. All they say is "be careful" and go back to eating chips and watching movies, Then they are DEVISTATED!! when their kid runs into a ditch or a tree.

It is NOT the manufactures fault NOR the kids fault!!! it is the fault of these ( throw money at my kids,so they wont bother me while "Opera" is on) Parents.

i agree bigger. i believe it is the same situation with gun laws, guns don't kill people, people kill people. punish the responsible one and not the equipment.
