2002 trailblazer NOT RUNNING RIGHT

Took off the oil injector easy to do Now it is running rough at idle & is back firing thru the carb. If anybody has taken the injector off and had this kinda trouble HELP I mixed the gas before taking it off so it wouldnt run with out oil....

Did you plug the oil injection line that you remove from
the bottom or side of the carb with a rubber plug? That
might be the cause. I'll have to check in my service manual
to see what else it might be.

After resealing the *block-off cap* did it work correctly ?

It seemed as if you did everything correctly . You did not remove the carburetor so it is really unusual that the bike doesn't run right .

Please post the solution to the problem when you find it .

Ive resealed it with gasket material & silicon & blocked off the oil line looking in the back of the carb should that sleeve come down all the way

The back edge of the slide is cut on an angle , it will look to appear 5mm above the bottom.

got it running right. pulled the block off plate off again resealed it fixed it. very stbborn plate.
