gas in oil
#2
well i would say no...(what kind of machine do you have?) most pumps are on the outside of the motor.. mine is up by the front susp. have you had any carb problems...?? because if your needle and seat is damaged and is stuck in place (open) then gas runs through the carb into the motor and around the piston then into the oil...(not saying this is your problem) well that is my guess anyways...wright back...

I have a sportsman 500. Does the fuel pump not work off of fluctuations(?) in crank case presure? It seems if the carb seats were leaking it would not run right. The machine stalls after a while of running from over heating from the oil that is thin from what I am guessing.
Any Ideas
